The Hunters of Linlithgow Team

Keith has over 22 years of experience in all aspects of the Motor Trade, serving his time at a main dealership before attaining master technician status. He has also completed his city and guilds in parts distribution. Keith has been managing Hunters of Linlithgow for the past 7 years, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service at all times and thoroughly enjoys the challenging role of running the busy workshops.  

Barrie has over 26 years of experience in the motor trade, Barrie started out working for a tyre supplier and has vast experience and knowledge of tyres, before joining Hunters of Linlithgow over 20 years ago and is a popular face to our long standing customers. He is dedicated to providing a first-class service and experience to all our customers and prides himself in always being first in the garage and last out.

Sarah has over 28 years of experience in the motor trade, Sarah’s experience in the trade ranges from motor vehicle parts and as a customer representative for a large Motor group. Sarah has been with Hunters of Linlithgow for over 15 years, and thoroughly enjoys her role as parts-co-ordinator and service advisor.

David has over 38 years of experience in the motor trade, David’s previous roles include aftersales manager, parts manager and senior service advisor for Porsche and TVR.

Customer service and satisfaction are Dave’s main objectives in his service advisor role, which he takes great pride in.

Janice has been at the helm of our accounts department for over 14 years, having previously worked at a main dealership. Her ability to add without a calculator is amazing! A traditional bookkeeper and an asset to the company.

Johnny has worked with Hunters of Linlithgow for over 14 years, after joining the Company as an apprentice and working to become a full-time technician. During his time at Hunters of Linlithgow, he has attended many training courses and events so it is no surprise he is known for his technical and problem-solving skills. He has a great passion for Volkswagen Audi Group vehicles. Johnny was also involved with Keith in preparation for the Top Garage 2021.

Johnny is Level 4 EV and hybrid trained to carry out all types of repairs on electric vehicles.

His further accreditations are:

• Diagnostic Technician
• MOT tester class 4
• IMI Level 4 EV and hybrid trained technician 
• F-gas trained for Air-con gas handling 

Dougie has been in the motor trade for over 24 years, serving his apprenticeship at a main dealership and then going on to work at a Volkswagen dealer. He is also a qualified motorcycle technician. Dougie has worked with Hunters of Linlithgow for over 11 years attending many training courses keeping him up-to-date and current with modern vehicles. He is currently a Level 3 EV and hybrid trained technician and is currently training towards his Level 4. 

His further accreditations are:

• MOT Tester class 4
• IMI Level 3 EV and hybrid trained technician 
• F-gas trained for Air-Con gas handling 

Adam has been in the motor trade for over 30 years, he served his apprenticeship with a main dealer franchise. He has been with Hunters of Linlithgow for 12 years and is a respected team player, known for his efficiency and reliability.

His further accreditations are:

• F-gas trained for Air-con Gas handling

Grant has been in the Motor trade for over 30 years, He has worked at Hunters for over 14 years. Grant served his apprenticeship and worked in a local garage so he is well known by the customers of Linlithgow. He is our main MOT tester and has more than 26 years of MOT testing experience keeping himself fully up-to-date with all the regular changes to the MOT testing methods and legislations.

His further accreditations are:

• MOT Tester class 4

Andy has been in the motor trade for over 19 years, He served his apprenticeship with a main dealer franchise, He has been at Hunters of Linlithgow for over 2 years and in this time he is following a specific training plan attending many courses and is a Level 4 EV and Hybrid technician allowing him to carry out all repairs to Electric vehicles. Prior to joining the team at Hunters of Linlithgow, Andy was an assistant manager and senior technician of a well-known retail workshop, He also spent a few years as a freelance technician working in many high-end dealerships.

His further accreditations are:

• MOT tester class 4
• IMI Level 4 EV and hybrid trained technician 
• F-gas trained for Air-con gas handling.

Steven has been in the motor trade for over 14 years, He served his time at a main dealer franchise and has been at Hunters of Linlithgow for 2 years. Steven previously worked with the Scottish Ambulance service repairing and maintaining the fleet of Ambulances carrying out vigorous safety checks and high standards of repairs.

His further accreditations are:

• MOT tester class 4

Declan has been in the motor trade for 7 years serving his apprenticeship at a local independent garage, He has worked at Hunters of Linlithgow for over a year and has greatly progressed with training. Declan is a keen team player and a great addition to the team.

Daniel has been in the motor trade for over 10 years, He served his time with a local independent garage, and has been with Hunters of Linlithgow for the past 2 years. Daniel is a great all-round team player and multi-tasker.

• MOT tester class 4  

Ged has over 25 years of experience in the Motor trade serving his apprenticeship at a main dealer before working in fleet maintenance. Ged has been at Hunters of Linlithgow for 11 years and when not assisting in the workshop he ensures the garage maintenance is kept up to standard.

Ian is our man about town. Making sure everything is working efficiently and maintaining health and safety regulations and policies. The cleanliness and tidiness, which are often commented on, are down to Ian’s high standards.
